Uyanga Amarsaikhan joined the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies (CSLS) in 2018. She has worked on ERC funded Horizon 2020 projects, and currently oversees content for the Migration Observatory at PCMLP. Uyanga also conducts legal research for ConflictNET – The Politics and Practice of Social Media in Conflict. She obtained her Phd from the University of Vienna in 2004, where her dissertation focused on global human rights protection mechanisms and NHRIs. Recently, Uyanga completed a Master’s in Art and Design at the University of Oxford, where her thesis presented a comparative study of power dynamics manifested in the design of courtrooms in the UK and the US.
