Katarina Foss-Solbrekk is a DPhil candidate at the law faculty at Oxford University, where she is tackling the question of how to improve medicinal accessibility under the intellectual property framework(s). She is currently a research assistant for Dr Nicole Stremlau and Dr Eleanor Marchant on a law, technology and genetics project focusing on NIPT testing. Previously, she completed an Advanced LL.M (cum laude) in law and digital technologies at Leiden University, an LL.M (distinction) in European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University and an LL.B (honours) from Edinburgh University. At Stockholm University, she also co-founded the Stockholm IP Law Review and served as the editor-in-chief of the journal for two volumes.”
