About the Price Media Law Moot Court Programme
Organised by PCMLP, the Price Media Law Moot Court Programme began in 2008 to cultivate interest in free speech issues and the role of the media and information technologies in societies around the world.
The Price Moot Court Competition now includes Regional Rounds in South Asia, Asia-Pacific, South East Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, in addition to the selective International Rounds in Oxford.
Through the competition and related activities such as seminars and research, the Programme builds a global network of students, lawyers and research partners focused on media law, fostering young media defenders and raising the profile of freedom of expression.
The Price Moot Court Programme has sparked interest around the world – see for instance, China Central Television’s coverage in this video (skip to 13:20min).
