Researcher
Eleanor Marchant joins us from the Center for Global Communication Studies at the Annenberg School for Communication. Her research interests include the role of media in diaspora political and social engagement, African media and politics, and the impact of new media technologies and globalization on indigenous communication cultures and channels of political engagement. Eleanor is a researcher for the Somalia media project.
